My recent publication is the book "Strategy of the Champions: Thinking in Schemes", first published in 2008, the second edition 2011. The electronic version (English version) of the book can be ordered at Helga@chessy.ru.

Annotation
In this book I. Mikhailova, PhD—International Grandmaster, Coach of a highest qualification—studies a most important direction in the development of strategic mastery: the method of “Thinking in Schemes”. The method has been applied by World Chess Champions with a great success. The book presents analyses of about 500 examples from their practice, positions for unsupervised work and practical recommendations.
Undoubtedly, this book will be of help to those who want to perfect their play practice as well as coaching work

Computer technologies in Training and Perfection of Elite Young Chess Players

I.V. Mikhailova, PhD in Education, Assistant Professor at Russian State University of Social Sciences (Moscow), Women International Chess Grandmaster.

The aim of the research was the design and application of a new education method for junior chess players, using Computer and Information Technologies.
The test group consisted of 40 chess players with sport qualification of first or higher grades.
 

Thinking in schemes as a method for elite chess players strategic thinking development

The aim of the research was the design and application of the technique of elite chess players strategic thinking at all stages of the thinking in schemes concept. The test group consisted of 52 chess players with sport qualification of first or higher grades.

The experiments resulted in the theoretical substantiation, development and application of the experimental technique. The new technique was proved to be effective for the elite chess-players strategic thinking development
